The Primary Aldosterone Hormone Panel includes Aldosterone (ALD), Cortisol (F), Cortisone (E), 11-Deoxycorticosterone (DOC), Angiotensin I (Ang-I), and Angiotensin II (Ang-II).
Measurement of these biomarkers is of significant clinical value for the screening and evaluation of primary aldosteronism among patients with hypertension, as well as for the assessment of renal parenchymal disease, hypercortisolism, apparent mineralocorticoid excess, Liddle syndrome, and related endocrine disorders.
