Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is one of the diseases with high morbidity and mortality. CTnI detection is mainly used for myocardial ischemia injury such as acute coronary syndrome (including hidden angina pectoris and unstable angina pectoris and AMI) such as clinical diagnosis, risk assessment and prognosis judgement, moreover can also be used to judge thrombolysis treatment effect after MI, myocardial ischemia damage area estimation, clinical diagnosis of myocarditis, myocardial trauma, surgery cardiac complications, severe sepsis or sepsis caused by left heart failure, congestive cardiac insufficiency, and the clinical effect of the treatment of certain drugs. CTn includes cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and cardiac troponin T (cTnT) subtypes. A large number of clinical studies have confirmed that cTnI or cTnT have the same clinical value in detecting myocardial injury.
The method is emulsion - enhanced immunoturbidimetry. Monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies are bound to latex granules, and the tested antigen in the patient's serum binds to the antibody on the latex surface in the buffer, making the latex granules cross-linked with each other and increasing the turbidity of the solution. Within a certain range, the turbidity of the reaction liquid is linearly correlated with the amount of the measured antigen.
